I just came across this article on Resident Advisor and it’s something I wish event promoters in Chicago would read. Event promoters have started to pack as many opening DJs as they can on the bill so that they get all their friends & fans to the event while we DJs only get a 45 minute set. Pretty pathetic in my honest opinion and it ruins the atmosphere that is oh so hard to create as described in this article… follow the link to read!
